Vacuum cleaner company Dyson produces headphones that clean the air!

Vacuum cleaner manufacturers with dirt-seeking lasers, Dyson, have produced a series of air-purifying headphones that are apparently not an April Fools' joke. According to the Dyson Zone product page, the device's mouth visor directs "a continuous stream of pure air to your nose and mouth without touching your face."

We do not have any information about the headphones themselves; All we know is they have Bluetooth and noise canceling. The team at Stuff was able to put on the mask and listen to the headphones, and said it was possible to hear the hum of the air-purifying motors on the ear cups even with noise canceling enabled, which seems like an obvious downside to wearing the headset.

Dyson has said a lot about how great his mask is for getting fresh air into your lungs, but he also said that air purifiers are "not enough to protect people from Covid-19," according to the EPA. Filtering is one-way only and is effective on urban fumes, according to Dyson.

One wonders if blowing air into people's faces is a great idea at a time when we're trying to limit the circulation of a virus. In one of the promotional shoots, the mask is worn on a train, leaving the nose exposed.

Dyson says work on the mask began before the pandemic and is working on an aerosol filter mask that will somehow fit into the Dyson Zone.

Dyson Zone air-purifying headphones will be available online at Dyson.com later this year. No price listed yet.

Might be one of the weirdest products I've ever seen in my life. Although it is not related to our game content, I wanted to share this strange news with our visitors.
