The new DLC lets players take on the role of Pagan Min, the snobby villain from Far Cry 4.

Far Cry 6, a game that may have more content than you can play, now has more. Far Cry 6: Pagan – Control is now available on all platforms.

In the DLC, Pagan Min was the main antagonist of 2014's Far Cry 4. Pagan Min was the king of the fictional kingdom of Kyrat, based in Nepal and serving as the game's open world. Troy Baker voices Pagan Min in the original game and DLC.

In Far Cry 6: Pagan – Control, Pagan Min embarks on a quest to save his daughter, Lakshmana, who was killed as an infant. According to a press release from Ubisoft, the DLC is roguelike-inspired and “settles deep within the bad guy's troubled spirit.” Basically, it seems like a gamification of Pagan Min's grief. Based on the launch trailer, the DLC seems to have a more dreamy tone than Far Cry 6.

This is the second of three themed DLC expansions for Far Cry 6, all featuring the return of a villain from the series' past. Vaas – Insanity, starring Far Cry 3 antagonist Vaas Montenegro, was released on November 16 last year. The third expansion, Joseph – Collapse, starring Joseph Seed from Far Cry 5, will be released later this year. The Far Cry series is known for its extravagant villains, and Ubisoft really leaned into that with this DLC.
