MrBeast, YouTube's leading creator of monetization, is collaborating with Fortnite. Fortnite MrBeast's Extreme Survival Challengewill take place this Saturday. It will give Fortnite players a short space to compete with a $1 million prize. Don't worry if you still don't get first place, you still have a chance to win a special in-game umbrella.
The competition begins on December 17 at 12:00 ET (9:00 pm PT / 17:00 GMT) on the island of Fortnite MrBeast's Extreme Survival Challenge (accessible from the Fortnite Competitive line) and lasts for three hours. Players can try the challenge as many times as they want during this time and will have to "avoid dangers, collect coins and survive extreme challenges" to build up their score.
When the time is up, you will be ranked by the score of your best run, and the first place player will receive a million dollars. Meanwhile, the top 100.000 players will receive access to the golden in-game Beast Brella Umbrella;
You might get some practice before this Saturday. The map opens today at 09:00 ET (6:00 PT / 14:00 GMT) so you can prepare as you wish. Caution: To qualify, the Epic account must have 2FA enabled and verified, as well as have an account level of 15 or higher (found in Fortnite's Career tab). Players in Russia and Turkey are also not eligible for the cash prize. In-game cosmetics are still playable though.
Epic is also adding a number of Fortnite, MrBeast-themed items, emotes, and outfits to the game to celebrate the occasion, if that's your thing. Also, a series of quests called MrBeast's Extreme Survival Quests will run concurrently with the island today, giving you the chance to unlock a themed loading screen and possibly the incredibly potent non-deodorant MrBeast Gaming Spray I'm referring to. as I imagine. You better get in quickly, but the missions are only until January 4th.
