The list of potential character transitions is endless.

Fortnite developer Epic Games is reportedly working with Paramount Pictures to include new characters in the Battle Royale game - there's already been mention of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

These allegations came from Nick Baker of XboxEra, who said in a recent episode of the podcast: “It appears that Paramount has signed a deal with Epic [Games] to bring property to Fortnite.” He then continues, “The most important thing I heard was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming to Fortnite.”

Neither Epic Games nor Paramount Pictures have made an official statement, so it's worth taking this rumor a little seriously, at least for now. But if that turns out to be true, it would open the door for a host of iconic Paramount characters to potentially join the Battle Royale game, such as Avatar: The Last Airbender and other Nickelodeon features like SpongeBob SquarePants.

In other Fortnite news, after the release of Fortnite Chapter 3, players discovered a new way to take down other players no matter how far they are. Dubbed the new "tree-kill' method," players began using specific trees in snowy places to destroy players standing below them. Players have also recently discovered that vending machines can give you health even when dropped.

It looks like Fortnite will continue to be a powerhouse of the Battle Royale genre this year as well.
