Recommended PC system requirements for Forza Horizon 5 were revealed ahead of the game's launch on November 9.

Forza Horizon 5 will launch on November 9 for PC, Xbox One S, Xbox One S, and Xbox Series S|X. Playground Games has revealed the game's system requirements for PC. It is one of the less demanding games on the market and will run even on slightly older computers at low settings. Forza Horizon 5 simplifies things in hardware by reducing fancy features like real-time ray tracing during races. Still available in repetitions.

To play Forza Horizon 5, you'll need at least an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or an Intel Core i5-4460 processor, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or an AMD Radeon RX 470 and 8GB of RAM. Playground Games recommends a graphics card with at least 4GB of VRAM. Finally, Forza Horizon will take up at least 110GB of hard disk space. Although not explicitly stated, the above specs should ideally give you a steady 720 FPS at 30p.

Following the 'recommended' specifications requires an AMD Ryzen 5 1500x or Intel Core i5-8400 processor, AMD Radeon RX 590/Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 and 16GB of system memory. Our Forza Horizon 4 benchmarks show that a desktop GTX 1070 and Core i7-6700k with the graphics crank can easily hit ~90fps. We can assume that the 'Recommended' feature will get 1080 FPS at 60p with 'High' settings based on this data.

Some PC-specific Forza Horizon 5 features include support for 21:9 ultra-wide-angle monitors and haptic feedback on Xbox controllers across all platforms. Popular wheels from brands such as Logitech and Thrustmaster are also supported. See attached image to find list of supported models.
