GeForce brings games to cars. Tesla isn't the only smart gadget you can use for gaming today. Nvidia is trying to get rid of this situation. Wait a minute. Nvidia announced at CES 2023 that it will bring its GeForce Now game service to smart cars. In short, you can have a complete PC/PS experience with our tools. The first vehicles to be compatible with this feature will belong to Nvidia Drive partner automakers Hyundai, BYD and Polestar.
Cloud Gaming Services Only Available on Select Vehicles
GeForce brings gaming to cars Hyundai Motor Group, which includes Hyundai, Kia and Genesis, will support GeForce Now as well as Polestar, which makes BYD and NEVs. Drivers can play the game at any time while parked, with the front screen and the rear screen. Players can stream from various PC storefronts such as Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
“Cars are becoming living spaces where occupants can enjoy what matters to them (work or play) rather than the stress of driving,” Nvidia said. GeForce Now works with game libraries like Steam to stream and play a wide variety of games on virtually any connected display.

Nvidia says there are already more than 1.500 games and more than 1.000 games can be played remotely, making in-car gaming possible. The service is compatible not only with Steam, but also with the Epic Games Store, EA, Ubisoft and GOG libraries. Unfortunately, some games cannot be streamed.

RTX 4080 Coming
In addition to the integration of GeForce Now with the tool, Nvidia announced that the RTX 4080 will also come to GeForce Now for those with Ultimate memberships. This means it can be used in games that support 240fps, full ray tracing and DLSS 3 like Portal with RTX.
