Santa Monica Studio has announced a patch with fixes that will be released on the day of Ragnarök game's release. (God of War Ragnarök Day 1 Patch Notes)
The patch notes, republished in full below, contain over 5 fixes for the PS4 and PS160 game set to be released on Wednesday.
For players worried about spoilers, the notes include quest, creature, and ability names.

GOD OF WAR RAGNARÖK DAY 1 PATCH NOTES
Dialogue
- Fixed several cases where dialogs from shopkeepers would not play.
- Fixed the issue where the store dialog was repeated too often.
- Fixed several cases where stories were accidentally interrupted.
- Fixed several cases where dialogs were prioritized incorrectly, causing small dialogs to play instead of critical dialog.
- Fixed the puzzle hint dialog interrupting and blocking the quest communication during the quest “Across the Realms”.
- Fixed a situation where companions were directing the player to stun enemies that could not be stunned.
- Fixed a case where Mimir gave incorrect instructions to use an relic.
- Fixed several locations where the dialogue could play erratically, causing repetitive dialogues or confusing conversations with the companion.
- Adjustments have been made to the timing of the dialogue to make the conversations look more natural.

- Fixed a case where the cinematic would not play when entering the office in the quest "The Quest for Tyr".
- Fixed a case where a movie theater was not playing during the quest “The Lost Sanctuary”.
- Fixed an issue where backtracking during the quest "The Lost Sanctuary" would cause a story beat to be missing.
- Fixed several cases where dialogue and subtitles would not play when the player restarted from the last checkpoint during a cinematic.
- Fixed an issue that caused dialogue and subtitles to not play during the quest "The World of Fate".
