Within 24 hours of the event ending, God of War Ragnarok and Spider-Man 2 had the highest number of trailer views from the PlayStation Showcase.
24 hours after PlayStation Showcase closed, God of War Ragnarok ve Marvel's Spider-Man 2were the games with the most trailers. Spider-Man 2's teaser trailer came as a surprise, but developer Insomniac Games has already unveiled another new project on the showcase - Marvel's Wolverine.
It was a long time ago that God of War in particular came out. Sony and Santa Monica Studio first announced the game during a digital PlayStation event in September 2020, offering little more than a logo, title, and release window introduction. However, this release window – 2021 – will not be met. And despite the lengthy gameplay footage shown in last week's showcase, neither publisher nor developer seems ready to talk about Ragnarok's deadline. Still, the continued stealth doesn't seem to have affected the general hype about the God of War sequel.
The day after PlayStation Showcase, industry analyst and Twitter user Benji Saleshas compiled a list of the most watched trailers in the first 24 hours. God of War Ragnarok took the highest honor with 10 million cumulative views on YouTube; Spider-Man 2 ranked second with over nine million views. Interestingly, Marvel's Wolverine recorded over seven million views, making it the third most-watched. KOTOR Remake and Gran Turismo 7 rounded out the top five with nearly three million and one million respectively. Benji-Sales explained his methodology in a follow-up post, saying that "all trailer uploads with 100.000+ views" are being considered and combined.
Admittedly, all of the trailers listed above have changed drastically since then.
Look, I shared them below so that you do not call one by one 🙂 have a good time.
