VALORANT Patch 3.05 will introduce significant changes to certain agents' abilities, allowing them to damage or destroy other agents' abilities. Valorant wants players to use these abilities creatively to solve obstacles and problems created by other agents. Consistent interaction of physical objects with agent abilities allows players to plan for the round without worrying about the interactions of certain abilities.
Brimstone, Sova, and Breach's abilities will all receive minor tweaks, making them more effective at dealing with enemy abilities. However, players must adjust themselves properly to avoid destroying their teammates' abilities and equipment in the process. Here are the special damage changes for the three agents:
Breach's Aftershock ability now deals damage to the following abilities:

Patch 3.05 also nerfs Killjoy's Turret and Raze's Boom Bot.
Killjoy's Turret; It's an excellent tool to help reduce enemy health, alert players to enemy movements, and slow players down to make a kill easier. Riot Games noticed how strong Killjoy's Turret performs in pistol rounds. The turret can significantly crush a team in a long line of sight and make it difficult to advance.
To fix this issue, the slow percentage of Killjoy's Turret's bullets has been reduced from 72,5% to 29,5%. This means that players hit by the Turret will have a better chance of escaping and have more retaliation options.
Raze's Boom Bot is an excellent ability to clear an area, find enemies, and kill or deal significant damage to enemies. However, this effectiveness of Boom Bot did not allow the opponent to counter, especially in pistol rounds. To fix this issue without completely destroying the Boom Bot, Riot lowered the price of the Boom Bot ability, but also significantly reduced the damage it deals. Here are the changes made for Boom Bot:
-Max damage reduced from 125 to 80
-Minimum damage reduced from 50 to 30
-Cost reduced from 400 to 300
One of the biggest updates in patch 3.05 is the Fracture map, the newest map in VALORANT. This map takes players to a damaged facility where two worlds collide, creating a two-sided battlefield. Instead of spawning on opposite sides of the map, defenders spawn in the center and have instant access to both bomb sites. Attackers can use ziplines to push sites immediately, causing defenders to deal with two threats at the same time. If you want a completely new VALORANT experience, Fracture is for you.
The competitive system will also receive changes in Patch 3.05. Immortal rank tiers are returning and the leaderboard will be updated to differentiate between each tier. The payoff of Immortal 1/2/3 will also change the ranked grouping constraints. Here are the new Immortal and Diamond grouping restrictions:
Diamond 1 → Immortal 1
Diamond 2 → Immortal 2
Diamond 3 → Immortal 3
Additionally, Patch 3.05 will make changes that will adjust the competitive ranked distribution that Riot previously announced in a blog post.
Players who purchase the premium battle pass will receive a three percent XP boost towards battle pass tier progression until the end of Act Two. Players who buy the ticket early will earn more XP. This XP bonus does not apply to daily or weekly missions.
The AFK detection algorithm has been updated to prevent players from improving their battle pass or account levels by AFKing in game modes like Deathmatch or Snowball Fight.
Patch 3.05; It will bring a few changes to agents, its competitive system, and certain esports features. These changes can be found in the official patch notes.
Patch 3.05 will be released on September 8th.
