This year has been a bullish year for MAD Lions star supporter Kaiser, and his hard work has helped him win a two-year contract extension with the League of Legends team until 2023, the organization confirmed the news today.
In his inaugural year, he helped MAD place in the league's top four in both the spring and summer, which led the rookie team to the World Championship for the first time.
However, their meager experience at international events quickly caught up with them, causing them to be eliminated in the 2020 World Championship qualifying stage. It's the first time a team from a major region has been eliminated in play-ins.
The following year was a big step forward for the young players, both individually and as a team. With the addition of Pear and Elyoya, their teamfight skills have improved tremendously and the skills of the remaining players have been upgraded to the next level.
Kaiser has maintained its position as one of the leading supporters regionally. According to Oracle Elixir, the 22-year-old had the best early-game stats and the second highest KDA in his support role in the 2021 LEC Summer Split.
Their understanding of the game and their aggressive playstyle helped them dethrone the old guard of the LEC by winning back-to-back LEC championships this year. Now, as Europe's first team, they will return to the World stage, recovering from last year's lackluster performances and preparing.
