The 2021 League of Legends World Championship saw loads of champions enter and exit the meta as the tournament went on. But one champion stood among the others: Lee Sin.

According to popular League esports statistics website Oracle's Elixir, Blind Monk was the top pick for most teams, with a 98,7 percent pick ban percentage across all games at the event.

Lee Sin played 36 times at Worlds, making her the second most played champion after Miss Fortune. He was banned by teams 52,6 percent of the time, and was also the champion with the second most kills and the most assists of all champions played in the tournament.

Lee Sin also has a good win rate at Worlds, taking home the victory in 58 percent of his games. He is one of the most active junglers in the tournament as he has an impressive 73,7% kill turnout.

It may not do a lot of damage, but its kit gives it the potential to create an unlimited amount of play in the hands of the world's star junglers. For example, DWG KIA's superstar jungler Canyon was undefeated for five straight matches at Lee Sin at Worlds 2021.

As a result, Lee Sin has been a threat to many teams at Worlds and may be a choice we will see often when EDG and DWG KIA face off in the final on Saturday, November 6th.
