The name of the newest VALORANT agent to be added to the game soon has been leaked on Twitter by the game's top data miners. The next agent will use the name Fade.

Two different data miners at ValorLeaks and Shiick tweeted that the new agent will be coming out as Fade. Both said that Fade is an Initiator from Turkey. "Fade pursues its prey with terror and tactics in equal measure."

This follows the theme of horror that has been heavily used by VALORANT in recent weeks. Several teasers have been released on the official VALORANT channels, showcasing multiple agents in despair and anxiety. The ongoing VCT Masters Reykjavik event also leans heavily on the theme of fear.

Fade has been referred to by the community as the "Bounty Hunter" until now. In a State of Agents blog post published at the end of March, the developers confirmed that the new agent will be the Initiator, hinting at his Turkish origins, saying his abilities will provide "a friendly feel when hunting enemies." The post also mentioned that the development team has agreed on a capabilities set that will provide more “localized” launch and exploration tools.

No screenshots or models of “Fade” have surfaced yet (all we know is an image of him with an evil eye bead ring on his finger). Additionally, there has been no official confirmation from Riot that the new agent is named Fade. The second act of the current episode will end on April 25, so fans can expect the new Turkish Agent to debut at the beginning of the third act.
