One of Riot Games' biggest League of Legends tournaments is set to kick off this April.
Riot Games has revealed all the details regarding the 2022 Spring European Masters, featuring top-performing teams from the European Regional Leagues. The announcement also includes various dates for each stage of the competition and how many teams each league will consist of.
The program is as follows:
-Play-ins: Monday, April 4 – Tuesday, April 5 and Thursday, April 7
-Main stage groups: Thursday, April 14 – Sunday, April 17 and Monday, April 21 – Thursday, April 24
-Quarter-Finals: Thursday, April 28 to Sunday, May 1
-Semi-Finals: Tuesday, May 3 to Wednesday, May 4
-Grand finale: Saturday, May 7
-The top twelve teams will automatically advance to the group stage, while the other 16 teams will be split into groups of four to compete in the play-ins. Play-ins will compete in a duo in which the top two from each group advance to the play-in knockout stage.
The winners of the knockout stage will earn their place on the main stage. From there, teams will be placed into four groups, and the top two teams from each group will compete in a duo circuit, advancing to the single-elimination, bo5 playoff rankings to determine the event's winner.

Prime League: One play-in, two main stages
Superliga: One play-in, two main stages
NLC: One game, one main stage
EBL: One play-in, one main stage

GLL: One play-in, one main stage
LPLOL: Two play-ins
Hitpoint Masters: Two play-ins
Elite Series: Two play-ins
You can catch the start of the EU Masters tournament next month when the matches start on April 4th.
