Details of the fifth Teamfight Tactics World Championship, players from each region and the Reckoning Worlds format were announced today by Riot Games.
TFT World Championship, scheduled to take place from 1-4 October, will host a total of 20 tacticians from eight regions from around the world. Originally, Reckoning Worlds was supposed to take place in China this year, but it was moved to a digital event at the end of August due to the COVID-19 Delta variant. The competition will kick off on October 1, and Riot has released most of the details of the TFT Reckoning World Championship today.

China will send four players to compete in the qualifiers. The results of the top four are scheduled to be announced on September 25.
Due to 20 players joining Worlds and a TFT lobby that needs eight players, there will be a lobby from each region on the first day of the competition, with the top four advancing to the group stage on the second day. The finals are scheduled to take place on October 4th, and the first entrant to reach 18 points wins a match and takes home the TFT Reckoning World Championship Cup.
October 1: Day one matches featuring the lowest ranked players from each region. The first four are advancing to the second day.
Day 2 is the group stage on the second day, where eight players are showcased in lobby A, with the top four making it to the finals.
October 3rd Day three group stage, in lobby B where eight players were showcased, the top four advanced to the finals.
October 4: Day four finals with the first player to score a total of 18 points and win a game to win the title of TFT Reckoning Worlds and the top eight.
Players have yet to be announced for the main stream and regional streams on Riot's Twitch channel. The TFT Reckoning World Championship will kick off at 1am CT daily from October 4-04.
