Soulstice release date has been announced! The previously announced dark fantasy-themed character action game from developer Reply Game Studios soulstice, officially coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 20 and PC on September 5. The new trailer highlights the game's story.
Given its fantasy theme and name, Soulstice can be considered heavily inspired by From Software's Dark Souls series. Although he openly shares his love of Berserk and a bleak aesthetic reminiscent of From Software RPGs, Soulstice's combat is closer to a game like Devil May Cry, with the main character Briar (along with the spirit of his dead sister Lute) looks.
As for Soulstice's story, Briar and Lute form a warrior named Chimera by fusing two souls. This gives Briar superhuman strength and abilities, while Lute has access to his own supernatural powers as a ghost. Together they try to reclaim a city devastated by powerful creatures known as the Wraiths.
