If you've explored the alley to the right of the musician on The Slums, you're guaranteed to have come across a half-buried safe under a pile of garbage. It's locked for now, but luckily the person who last used it left a clue to unlock it. The mysterious password of the safe is fixed on the front of the safe and as you approach you will be asked to retrieve it.

You can find Elliot one of two ways. If you haven't come across him in the game yet, the only way to reach him is at ground level. Follow the many signs around The Slums for Elliot's Programming until you reach a door with two swaddled robots nearby. Scratch the door for entry clearance and head up the stairs to find Elliot gathered in front of the computer workstations.
Alternatively, if you lowered the window curtain on your previous visit to Elliot, you can reach him from the roof via the hanging bucket next to the sky-gazing robot Swanito. Get Stray secure code
Dufer Bar is located very close to the middle of The Slums, down the stairs just behind where you first encounter The Guardian. If you're still unsure, look for the red neon sign above the door just to the right of Teddy, the robot leaning against a vending machine.
Believe it or not, the mysterious password shows not only the building, but also the place inside the bar where you need to look. To the far left of the bar you will find the red neon sign DUFER BAR leaning against the wall.

The vault in Midtown location and code
When you reach the midtown street after exiting the subway, you enter the market on the right, and there is a safe at the top of the shelves.
