Forest developer Endnight Games has announced that its sequel, Sons of the Forest, has been delayed to October.
Endnight Games announced the May 2022 release date last November, but tweeted that they postponed the game's release to October.
“We have decided to move our release date to October 2022 in order to realize our vision of the next step in survival games,” he said.
The game was first announced in December 2019 and promises more than just survival and horror in the gruesome open world the first game was known for. Sons of the Forest will once again leave players empty-handed on a spooky island where they must forage, craft and build to ensure their own survival.
Although Endnight Games has shown a few strips of gameplay in various trailers released since the announcement, it's been pretty quiet.
