The Good Lifewill give players the task of solving several local mysteries while enjoying daily life in the English village of Rainy Woods. Playing as journalist Naomi Hayward, fans must investigate a murder and also deal with a strange local phenomenon that sees villagers transform into cats and dogs as night falls. Naomi also develops this ability and can transform into one of the animals, each with unique skills and abilities. Transforming into a cat will allow Naomi to jump and climb as she explores, while transforming into a dog will help keep track of scents. The Good Life has been in development for some time with the help of a Kickstarter campaign.
Xbox and White Owls have announced that The Good Life is coming to Xbox Game Pass on October 15. Players can also try the game before it's released, thanks to a new Xbox game demo that's free. Try it on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles. Swery65Progress made in the demo will carry over to the full game when it's released, as confirmed on Twitter.
