Nick Offerman is officially in The Last of Us series.

The Last of Us series adds Bill: Parks & Recreation actor Nick Offerman.

As per Variety, Offerman replaces Con O'Neill, who previously had the role. O'Neill left the project after a "programming conflict".

Some may have seen the remake coming, thanks to an earlier interview with Frank actor Murray Bartlett.

Bartlett, who will play Bill's partner Frank on The Last of Us, told The Guardian, “A lot of my scenes are with Nick Offerman. It was great playing with him.”

In the series, Bartlett said nothing but praise for series creator Craig Mazin. Bartlett said, “The scripts he wrote blew my mind. It's an epic show, but beautifully human and sincere,” he said.

Offerman may be best known as Ron Swanson, the dour director of Pawnee's Parks & Recreation, but he's also stood out in more dramatic roles, including Fargo and Deadwood.
