VALORANT development team leader Anna Donlon has confirmed that a replay system is in development.

New server locations, mod updates are being worked on, as well as the highly anticipated replay system that will help players better understand the game and learn from their mistakes.

donlon Wednesday“We don't usually talk about these kinds of things until we make firmer commitments to dates or share real details. Mainly because of anxiety, we may exaggerate everything sooner than we should, over-promise, etc.” said

The developers will hold a Reddit AMA (Ask the Developer event) on Friday to discuss the agent changes planned for the coming months and provide more details on mods and features, including potentially the replay system for the year.

In May 2022, product management developer Arnar Hrafn Gylfason at Riot Games responded to the backlash when it was revealed that there were no plans for a replay system in the near future.

“More is ahead for Valorant, and all the teams are eager to share more details, we're just waiting for clearer timelines and details,” Gylfason said. The developers are all very passionate about the game and the community and want to talk more about what they are doing. Our biggest focus is on getting our teams confident to share openly and frequently with the community so we can all be more comfortable in this work together.” said.

It is not yet clear when the new replay system will arrive on live servers. But players who know Riot Games closely will definitely get a clearer indication soon.
