World of Warcraft: Dragonflight DLC announced! Dragonflight, the next World of Warcraft DLC pack, is now up for pre-order. The DLC was a complete surprise for the players. The Dragonflight update is reportedly coming this year.
For four different versions of Dragonflight pre-orders opened. The standard edition is $50, the Heroic edition is $70, the Epic edition is $90, and the physical collector's edition is $130 (includes all the digital features of the epic edition). The higher the version level, the more cosmetics, special mounts, and other content you can earn. Pre-orders state that the expansion will be released "on or before December 31, 2022."
When Dragonflight arrives, it's set to bring big changes to WoW, including a new continent to explore, as well as an overhaul of class abilities and job systems. The DLC will also include the Dracthyr, a new playable race that can only be a single class, for the first time in MMO history.
Dragonflight will have a lot to prove after the game's disappointing Shadowlands expansion, but Blizzard already seems to have rolled up their sleeves to fix their mistakes. Blizzard recently introduced cross-faction factions in WoW for content such as dungeons and raids, and is putting more emphasis on player feedback and shaping its roadmap through the creation of the player-focused WoW Community Council.
