Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom All Talents. You will be able to obtain these abilities in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom abilities include some DIY crafting and elemental powers. You'll discover and unlock them as you progress through the campaign. Here is our guide to help you with all the abilities in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

DIY crafting via the Ultrahand

Ultrahand is a tool you will get at the beginning of the expedition. Basically, it has the main function where you can create various objects and tools for combat, exploration or puzzle solving. Most are unlocked when clearing Temples in the Great Sky Island starting area. These can be accessed by holding down the L button.

Ultrahand Grab and Attach

This is the main function of Ultrahand. You can hold, rotate, remove, align and add objects, essentially creating something stylish, useful, or downright mind-blowing.

Fuse

The Fuse mechanic lets you choose a melee weapon or shield. You can then combine this with a specific material or even another weapon/shield. For example, let's say you have a wooden stick. That's just sad, isn't it? However, you can combine a stronger material or other weapon, for example a sword, to increase its damage. You can also try more ridiculous combos like shields that emit energy beams or polearms attached to polearms.

Autobuild

Think of Autobuild as a faster way to use Ultrahand. The ability itself differs from other DIY options, as Depths/Abysses are learned by going through the quest chain. From there, you'll have to fight a specific boss several times. Each fight rewards you with a Schematic or a new AutoBuild design.

Likewise, you can try the "history" and "favorites" systems, where the objects and tools you create are saved for later use.

Utility effects

These auxiliary effects are primarily used for crossfading and puzzle solving. They are also obtained through Temples on Big Sky Island. Similar to other Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom abilities, you need to hold the L button to access them.

Ascend

Ascend allows Link to ascend to reach higher areas. Basically, you need to stand upright and have a solid section a few feet above you, such as a low ceiling, hanging ledge, square block, or the bottom end of a column.

When you select the Ascension ability, you should see a green marker if the target location is valid. Link will then travel through solid objects as if floating in matter until it reaches the top of that segment.

Recall

Recall is another nifty trick you can use. Basically, it lets you reset its position or direction by targeting an object (not a creature/enemy). For example, let's say there is a block falling from a high ledge. Link can wait for it to drop, climb over it, and then use Rewind. This causes the block to rise as if resetting its position so Link can reach the ledge it came from.

Sage summons and elemental powers

These Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom abilities come from Sage companions. Basically, every main area in the game has an important character that helps you in that particular chapter. When you finish the main quest in that area, the companion gains a Hidden Gem and they can lend their power as you continue your journey.

More than one helpful ability can also be active at any given time. What's more, unlike Ultrahand DIY and assistive effects, these Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom abilities or auxiliary powers are activated on the ground by going near a character and pressing the A button.

In any case, the activation system for abilities from companions in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom may seem a bit strange. This is because Link's friends like to run around aimlessly. With a few exceptions, chasing them just to activate a power can be quite difficult.

Sage of Wind

This makes the comrade blow a breeze. In battle, it can push back smaller enemies. It's great for exploration and transit as it allows you to gain a burst of speed while gliding.

Sage of Lightning

This creates a glowing field around you and eventually covers a larger area. You can then shoot an arrow to launch a powerful lightning attack.

Sage of Water

This creates a bubble of water surrounding Link, eliminating an instance of damage from any source. Likewise, you'll be able to clean up the messes that slow you down. And of course, it's a way to cool off in areas with a warmer climate.

Sage of Fire

This causes the companion to become a ball before being thrown. If it targets an enemy, it is knocked back and takes some fire damage. This can also be used on breakable stones and ores. Finally, this is always active when getting into a vehicle.

Sage of Spirit

The fifth and final Sage companion is quite a surprise, so we don't want to give spoilers here. When they do, players will probably say “wow!” We guess he will.
