A new single-player main story mode is coming to the DLC pack for Splatoon 3. The DLC, called Side Order, will be released in spring 2024 and, according to Nintendo, is “designed to be played over and over again.”
The new DLC invites you to see what's happening in the city of Inkopolis Square in Splatoon 2. As you progress through the Spire of Order, you can continue to improve your abilities by adding upgrades to run speed, splash damage, and more. The new mode also features damage counters that appear after you sweep your enemies, which seems a bit distracting at first glance.
Nintendo released Splatoon 3 last September. The first part of the DLC, which allows you to return to Inkopolis Plaza from the first Splatoon game, was released in February. The game's expansion pack is $24,99 and will include Side Order when it launches in 2024.
For those who don't know, Splatoon 3 is a third-person shooter video game developed and published by Nintendo. The game was released for Nintendo Switch on September 9, 2022. Splatoon 3 is an ink-splatter-based war game. Players try to capture maps by splashing ink. Players can defeat their enemies using a variety of weapons and abilities.
The game is generally a Multiplayer game. However, the upcoming Splatoon 3 Side Order will also have a single-player story mode with the DLC pack.
