We're only a few weeks away from diving into DICE's new FPS.
The Battlefield 5 file size on PS2042 has been discovered and is surprisingly smaller than expected.
Revealed by From @PlayStationSize Twitter , Battlefield's new game will supposedly take up to 42.717GB in the US and 42,389GB in the EU. This file size is apparently also without a log patch that is expected to skip.
Battlefield 2042 will be released on October 22, 2021, but as noted in the tweet, those who pre-order the game will get the game a little early on November 19. You can skip it on November 12. The same goes for the Battlefield 2042 preload starting on November 17 (standard) or November 10 (Gold/Ultimate).
DICE/EA's futuristic FPS will also be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X /S, Xbox One and PC. If you're wondering what you need to play on PC, the good news is the Battlefield 2042 PC requirements have already been released. EA has offered gamers an NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card, 16GB of RAM and a 100GB SSD, but there's also a choice of minimum specs.
