Dead Island 2 Postponed Again

Dead Island 2 has been in development for a long time and has been delayed for several years continuously for different reasons. However, it has recently been added to the calendar again with a 2023 release date. Now the game has been delayed again (hopefully for the last time) with a new release date of April 28, 2023.

The zombie game was first announced for a 2014 release in 2015, but has seen repeated delays, including losing its developer. The game went silent for years afterward, with enough news coming in to reassure fans that it was still in development at the time.

Dead Island 2 finally resurfaced earlier this year, releasing a new trailer and announcing its release date as February 3, 2023, but a new one posted on the game's Twitter account. to the announcement It has now been postponed to April 28. The content of the announcement is nothing groundbreaking, with the studio explaining that the game needs more time to release.

The announcement reads, “The irony of delaying Dead Island 2 is not lost on us, and we are undoubtedly as disappointed as you are. The delay will last only 12 short weeks and development is currently in its final stages. We'll take the time we need to make sure we can launch a game we're proud to have created."

The post also announced a new Dead Island 6 event, with a new trailer and gameplay premiere set to air on December 2 to appeal to fans who will be waiting for the game a little longer.
