The football game EA SPORTS FC, which is being developed by Electronic Arts and will be released in the 2023-24 football season, will hold the naming rights of the Spanish football league LaLiga. This comes as a result of a multi-year partnership between both parties.

In addition to the naming rights, the new series will be able to use all of LaLiga's logos, graphics, fonts and other visual elements. This partnership includes LaLiga's first and second divisions, LaLiga Promises, the league's youth tournament, and eLaLiga, LaLiga's esports league.

“Our new series is dedicated to delivering the most authentic and immersive experiences in global football,” David Jackson, brand vice president, said in a press release. Our innovative new partnership with LaLiga amplifies this passion and solidifies both organizations' position at the center of football culture. The apparent reach and scale of this partnership is as exciting as the opportunity to deliver incredible experiences to fans through in-game innovation, interactive entertainment and grassroots initiatives.” said.

EA and LaLiga have been partners for years due to their affiliation with FIFA, the #1 video game soccer franchise. However, EA has ended its partnership with international football federation FIFA and will launch its own franchise named EA SPORTS FC after FIFA 23.

EA will reveal more details about this partnership in the coming months and information about the new series, which will be released in the summer of 2023.
