The anticipated trailer for FIFA 23 was released on July 20, and it was announced that the game will be officially released on September 30. In addition, the trailer showed the new animation system added to the game.
For example, Hypermotion 2 Technology will provide more animations and more realistic physical responses for FIFA 23's virtual players. Theoretically, this technology will make the game more fluid and responsive and indistinguishable from watching it on TV. Hypermotion 2 features will only be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Stadia versions of the game. Other improvements include a revamped dribbling system, a smoother transition to shooting, brand new acceleration mechanics, improved player awareness and more.
FIFA 23 will also feature women's club teams for the first time in series history, including the Barclays Women's Super League and Division 1 Arkema at launch. The game will also feature two World Cup tournaments: Men's FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and FIFA Women's World Cup Australia – New Zealand 2023. These tournaments will be added to the game later with free updates.
The game will add changes and improvements to various game modes, including Career Mode, Pro Clubs, Volta Football, Ultimate Team and more. The new training mode coaching system promises to help new and inexperienced players develop faster. FIFA 23 will also support cross-play between systems and platforms.
The international football organization and EA will part ways after the last game of the series, Fifa 23. EA's soccer games in 2023 EA Sports F.C. will be rebranded.
