EA will show its first images for FIFA 23 this week with a teaser trailer on July 20 at 19:00 Turkish time. The cover art of the Ultimate Edition, featuring Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe and Chelsea's Sam Kerr, has also been announced.

This year is an important one for the FIFA series as it is the last year the series will be published and developed through EA. The name of the series that has been producing football games under the name FIFA since 1993 It will be EA Sports FC and will continue as part of the rights-negotiation process that is currently being worked on with FIFA.
EA said in its announcement that EA Sports FC will include everything players expect from the game, including modes, leagues, tournaments, clubs and athletes, as well as Ultimate Team, career mode, Pro Clubs and Volta.
The official FIFA body doesn't seem too concerned about this, as president Gianni Infantino says he's working with several third-party studios and publishers to provide "more options" beyond just adapting to a single company. More than one FIFA game is in development, according to Infantino, and he has made bold promises that they will be the "best" football game on the market in the future.
