Final Fantasy XVI Coming to PS2023 in Summer 5, New Gameplay Trailer Released. Final Fantasy XVI took center stage during the PlayStation State of Play presentation. Square Enix showed off the world of Final Fantasy and its action-oriented combat during the event with a new gameplay trailer. It was also revealed that Final Fantasy XVI will be released exclusively on PS2023 in Summer 5.
The new Final Fantasy XVI trailer showed off the concept of real-time action fighting alongside the big bosses in the game. The fighting concept is similar to both Final Fantasy XV and Final Fantasy VII Remake, with high-speed movement and flying damage numbers. Some of the boss fights shown had more cinematic camera angles, and both the main character's health bar and the bosses' health bar were prominently displayed.
PlayStation Blog'The new trailer, which was detailed in the video, also provides a little more information about Final Fantasy XVI and the story of Eikons. Eikons function as summons in the game, but also play an important role in the ongoing conflict in the kingdom of Valisthea.
Final Fantasy XVI returns to a more traditional fantasy setting that we haven't seen in the series in a very long time, since 2016's Final Fantasy XV. The game will not be coming to PS4, but it is expected to come to PC.
