A Fortnite leaker claims to have found evidence that the black hole in Episode 1 could return at an upcoming event.
Fortnite is gearing up for its next big event as Chapter 2 Season 7 is set to end in a week with Operation: Skyfire. Missions in Fortnite hinted that Season 7 would conclude with a larger-than-life event that should bring the arc involving the aliens' invading Mothership to a conclusion. Players are already predicting that the Mothership will hit the ground and change the landscape of Fortnite forever. But if a new leak is to be believed, a collapsing Mothership may be just scratching the surface of Epic Games' plans.
Fortnite data mining and leaker InTheShadeYT recently shared an intriguing discovery. In a tweet, they say, “We're getting a Black Hole/Something like Season 14 after the event,” and then link to a Fortnite folder with unclear content. “After the black hole appears, there will be a special loading screen,” a second Twitter post says. This post links to two Fortnite assets that use "black" in their filenames. Apart from these filenames, Fortnite players rely on InTheShadeYT's reports.
Epic has added another Marvel hero to Fortnite's growing roster.
The Fortnite Shang-Chi skin is now available in the Item Shop, signaling a still-strong relationship between juggernauts Epic and Marvel. The Shang-Chi costume arrives in Fortnite just in time for the hero's feature film debut, Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, set to hit theaters on September 3.
