Ghost Gaming will add Aproto to their VALORANT roster!

Many sources have said that Ghost Gaming is close to adding Alex “aproto” Protopapas to their VALORANT roster.

Aproto started his VALORANT career in August 2020 with MIXUP, renamed Luminosity. Luminosity had a successful Stage One performance starting 2021, placing in the top six at its first Masters event.

Luminosity set out to repeat this feat in the Second Stage of the 15 North American VALORANT Champions Tour, which begins April 2021. However, they failed to qualify for the main event and failed to put a tooth to NRG in the qualifying match.

In August 2021, Luminosity entered the final phase of the VCT. Luminosity managed to participate in the main event, but did not find the success and took the last place.

Their Stage One and Third Stage performances were enough to earn them a spot in the North American Final Chance Qualifiers on Circuit Points and even earned them a chance to qualify for VALORANT Champions. Luminosity did not win a single match at the event. After the end of the 2021 season, Aproto left Luminosity.

With the addition of Aproto, Ghost Gaming will seek to qualify for the group stage in Stage Two of the 2022 North American VCT, which begins in early May.
