Coffee Stain Publishing has announced an official release date for Goat Simulator 3. The game will be released for PC, Xbox and PlayStation on November 17. Goat Simulator is an open-ended third-person action game in which the player controls a goat named Pilgor.
Most people still want to know why Goat Simulator 3 skipped a number (there was no game called Goat Simulator 2 and went straight to 3) and a PS Blog in your post Coffee Stain Publishing has revealed several reasons for the game's name. These don't seem like very good reasons, but still there's not much to say.
According to the developers at Coffee Stain North, some of the causes stem from a permanent typo, temporary amnesia, and Sony Santa Monica's selfish claim to God of War: Ragnarok's name.
Goat Simulator 3 will offer the game in many different editions, from the standard edition to the Goat Simulator's "Digital Downgrade Edition" featuring a selection of remastered items, and the Goat In A Box Edition, which will be a Europe and Asia Pacific Region special edition.
As Coffee Stain North announced in June with a trailer that distorts the iconic teaser for the game's Dead Island 2 in June, Goat Simulator will also have the potential to be a "meme" for the community.
