Apex Legends Mobile: Take Over event tips
This event is not very complicated, but it is much, much easier to complete the challenges with a full pre-made team. If your friends aren't playing Apex Legends Mobile, consider taking advantage of the mobile game's great lobby chat feature to connect with other players working towards completing the same event challenges as you.
Getting the required number of assists can be a bit of a challenge, so a good way to finish this challenge quickly is to play as Caustic. Gas barrels can damage enemies even when you are not near the barrels. When the enemy takes some damage from a gas barrel (no matter how little damage it does), you will receive an assist if another teammate kills the enemy shortly after Nox Gas triggers one of your barrels.
When it comes to these wins and top 5 finishes, the best thing you can do is not draw attention to yourself. Don't engage in every conflict you come across unless you have another choice or are already in the Top 5. Take your time and only attack when the right opportunity arises.
When it comes to playing Apex in any mode, on any platform, the best advice is to communicate with your team. If you're stuck with a team full of clueless randoms, put on your headphones, fire up the mic, and start making decisions. If you've been paired with players well above your skill level, stay close to them, listen to them, and be sure to broadcast your plans before making any moves. Teamwork is very important in Apex Legends, but if you're more of a lone wolf, never fear.
