Here are the VALORANT 4.07 Patch Notes

VALORANT Patch 4.07 is a relatively minor update compared to other updates, but the new patch adds new servers in Latin America and minor details for Bulldog-Stinger.

Patch 4.07 adds new servers in Latin America that should significantly improve latency in the region. The new servers are scheduled to be released shortly after the release of 4.07.

  • Bulldog and Stinger Firing inputs will now be applied with a delay when zooming in on their weapons.
    • It will prevent you from taking advantage of the accuracy improvements in rapid fire mode before placing your weapon at eye level.
    • It will make the decision to switch to burst mode, which must be made in the middle of combat, a little more important.
    • You'll still be able to start shooting instantly in full auto or aimless shooting modes.
  • Weapons* that come with abilities can now be added to the equip queue to be equipped after the current action.
    • *Weapons in this group include: Chamber's weapons; Neon, Jett, and Raze's ultimate abilities.

While we've been chasing mistakes, agents have been chasing their own goals. Drop by Polygon to find out what they're up to.

Personally, we could not understand this sentence. Guess we'll have to take our magnifying glasses and explore the Range!

The VALORANT in-game VP section is also getting an update, the VP purchase page now opens in a few seconds. (sometimes it took longer than 30 seconds)

  • We added different systems to detect different AFK behaviors for game modes in rotation.
    • Let us remind you that we never condone discriminatory behavior at VALORANT. When we are informed of the existence of such behaviors, we will examine the events one by one and determine the appropriate punishment accordingly. We will also update our Code of Conduct to use more specific wording and eliminate the possibility of misinterpretation. – Social Dynamics and Player Dynamics Team

VALORANT is also developing new afk detection methods to make it even more preventable that “AFK-like behavior” from ruining the game in various game modes.

Additionally, Patch 4.07 fixes various Agent, Social and Competitive bugs.

  • Fixed a bug where Yoru could undesiredly interact with ropes right at the end of her ultimate, allowing her to instantly use her weapon.
  • Fixed a bug that made it possible to destroy Spike by focusing abilities.
  • Skye's Trackers will be able to break the destructible doors in Ascent, as they used to.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented players with communication restriction penalties from being able to listen to team voice chat.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented players from being removed from the game immediately after being suspended.
  • Fixed a bug that caused performance bonuses to appear at the wrong times.
  • Fixed a bug where pressing the "Use Spike" button momentarily to place Spike would cause Spike to be equipped instead of the last equipped weapon.

Patch 4.07 is scheduled for release tomorrow, April 13.
