Developer Intercept Games and publisher Private Division announced that Kerbal Space Program 2 has been delayed to the initial release window of 2023 on PC. The PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions will launch after the initial release on PC.
"We're creating a game with tremendous technological complexity," said Nate, Creative Director of Private Division. To achieve this goal, we have assembled a team of passionate, talented people. But we also set ourselves a very high quality bar,” he explains. Simpson is in a video update. “The game has to perform on a wide variety of machines. Graphics must be unique. The universe must be rich and interesting enough to explore.” said.
Kerbal Space Program 2 was announced at Gamescom 2019 with an original release window in early 2020. However, the game's release was delayed to Fall 19 due to development complications around COVID-2021, and then once again to 2022. Now it's being delayed to 2023 and hopefully this will be Kerbal Space Program 2's final postponement.
