A deal between Epic and Riot marks the first time Riot's games are available outside of its own launcher.
Riot Games is leaving. Alongside the launch of the new Netflix series Arcane, Riot has partnered with Epic to add a jinx skin to Fortnite. ve Bringing its entire PC library to the Epic Games Store.
Since its initial release in 2009, League of Legends has only been available through Riot's own launcher. Mobile aside, Riot has kept its other games exclusive to the same launcher: Valorant, Teamfight Tactics, and Legends of Runeterra are the only ways to play. But not anymore.

That's all Riot and Epic have to say upfront, but considering this is a first for Riot, we expect to hear more from both. Epic's lack of publicly available player numbers like Steam could make for some very interesting comparisons, unfortunately.
