The first global esports event for League of Legends: Wild Rift is here. Horizon Cup will be held as an offline event at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Center in Singapore from November 13-21.
Ten teams from around the world compete in the trophy for the title of champion and a share of the $50.000 prize pool. Riot says the Horizon Cup will mark the end of the game's pre-season. An esports build suitable for Wild Rift is expected to launch next year.

Format and timing
Group Stage
- The group stage will take place from 13 to 17 November. The 10 teams were divided into two groups of five teams each.
- They will compete in a single round trial format, with each match being a best of three games.
- The top three teams from each group will advance to the qualifying stage. The winners of both groups will advance directly to the knockout semi-finals.
Knockout Stage
- The knockouts will take place from 19 to 21 November.
- It will have a single elimination bracket.
- All matches will be best-of-five, with the exception of the finals, which will be best-of-seven.
