Rainbow Six has compiled all of the first games of the series in a single release for fans to play.
Menrva is the mod maker responsible for the release of Rainbow Six Black Ops 2.0, which he says is "the greatest Rainbow Six experience since the Rogue Spear era." He had worked on another compilation published by another modder called HardcoreHacker in 2014. Black Ops 2.0 includes the following Rainbow Six games:
-Rainbow Six (1998)
-Rainbow Six: Eagle Watch (1999)
-Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear (1999)
-Rainbow Six: Urban Operations (2000)
-Rainbow Six: Covert Ops Essentials (2000)
-Rainbow Six: Black Thorn (2001)
-Rainbow Six: Take Down – Missions in Korea (2001)
A total of 56 missions are playable with all operators, challenges and other content unlocked from the start. It includes content originally released in Korea for Urban Operations and Take Down, properly translated and consistently embedded into the main storyline of the Rainbow Six games.
The preview shows us some gameplay videos at the end, along with the included menus and content.
The release also includes bug fixes of the 2014 release. Additionally, the mod has updated various map textures and uniforms from the original games to better versions for the Black Thorn v2 .61 game engine.
“If Rogue Spear gets on GOG.com, I will change the installation process accordingly,” Menrva said.
