German organization MOUZ is preparing to enter VALORANT after the signing of European team “MMix”, told Dot Esports on February 8.
The discussions between the two sides, as quoted by journalist Bo Dork on January 23, have been going on for several weeks. However, five players have signed and will compete under the organization in the VALORANT Regional League DACH: Evolution, where the regular season starts on February 13.
The most notable pairing in the MOUZ roster is former Team Liquid player James “Kryptix” Affleck, who left the Spanish organization earlier today, and former Heretics player Felix “al0rante” Brandl.
The cast of MOUZ VALORANT will include al0rante and Kryptix, as well as Joseph “Luzuh” Loose, Amine “Amilwa” Saidi and Laurent “memset” Werly.
Formerly known as mousesports before the rebrand, MOUZ is active in multiple esports. VALORANT's sister first-person shooter, Counter-Strike, boasts arguably the premier MOUZ roster. CS:GO veteran and former VALORANT player Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt makes headlines on the roster alongside David “frozen” Čerňanský, who re-signed with the organization this month.
The organization will compete in the DACH region alongside teams such as Wave Esports, CGN Esports, and Ovation eSports. The league will start on February 13 and end on March 19, just days before the playoffs.
The VRL DACH: Evolution playoffs will start on March 27 and end on April 9.
