New Anime style tactical JRPG game!
Many gaming sites claim it is “one of the best games to point to when people ask what makes RPGs fun.” In February, Nintendo Switch released Bravely Default 2 to enthusiastic reviews. It's a pretty big claim, but we'll be able to test it for ourselves soon because Bravely Default 2 will launch on Steam next week, September 2nd.
What is Bravely Default 2 about? It looks like you're after some stolen elemental crystals that have fallen into bad hands. Referring to the four main playable characters, each bringing their own strengths and weaknesses to strategic turn-based gameplay in typical RPG fashion, the description says, "It's up to you to stop these heroes and the forces that threaten all Excillant." It's a simple concept on paper but reportedly very well implemented.
As for the benefits of the PC version, Square Enix only promises "controller support and various resolution options." I'd say it will look more vibrant and smooth on PC than it does on the Nintendo Switch, but JRPGs often have trouble switching to PC, so we'll have to wait and see how the port turns out.
