Omen Teleports are Broken in the Sunset Map. A VALORANT player discovered a broken Omen teleport point in Sunset that needs to be repaired immediately. Omen is a meta control agent in VALORANT's newest Los Angeles-based map, Sunset, but that's not just because of the usual perks he brings to the game. Apparently, Shrouded Step can take you to high, unintentional heights that other agents cannot, and it immediately caught the attention of Riot Games.
On September 17, a player named GMD_WarloCk posted a clip on Reddit showing off a rather broken teleport point that might allow you to sneak a peek over the green Radianite box in A Main. It will also act as an element of surprise for any enemy advancing from Mid Top or walking from B Boba towards Mid Top or Defender Spawn.
To accomplish this, you need to stand just outside the Upper Middle entrance towards the Defender Spawn as shown and play with Omen's hands to get the teleport point at the top of the spherical feature. A few tries and some practice is all you need to master it enough to abuse it.
Now, before you start abusing this in your ranked VALORANT games, know that this is a bug and not an intentional feature – Riot may flag your account if you abuse bugs. A Riot employee confirmed the same, writing, “Yeah, we should probably look into that… thanks for the report!” said.
While such mistakes are unfair, players were less than happy with Riot's admission. “Fnatic's manager is here. Please do not deal with this matter any further,” said one player, referring to the popular 'Fnatic manager is here, please delete this' message.
Another player was worried about his favorite agent's future in VALORANT. They said, “When they realize Omen is the best agent in the game, they will kill Omen,” and now I'm scared too.
This isn't the only Omen bug in VALORANT's Sunset. There are several unintentional teleport points that the Shrouded Step can take you to, one of which allows you to station yourself on the roof in front of the Radianite box at Site A. Riot will definitely fix these, but the question now is when.
