System Shock remake is coming in 2022, here are 15 In-game footage.

Nightdive is teaming up with Koch Media's new Prime Matter division to release the game next year.

We've all waited patiently for the future in 2022 through the partnership between System Shock Nightdive Studios and Prime Matter, a division of Koch Media that formed last year. To commemorate the deal, Nightdive released more than a dozen new screens showcasing the dimly lit horrors of Shodan's first adventure.

CEO Stephen Kick said this is Nightdive's first external publishing deal and represents "an important step in the growth of Nightdive Studios." “It will allow us to deliver System Shock to fans around the world in both digital and physical product formats and fully honor our commitments to our fans and especially to our thousands of backers on Kickstarter. play would never have been possible.”

First released in 1994, System Shock is an early and gripping simulation that tells the story of a rogue space station AI in the year 2072. It was moderately successful, emerging as a sequel to 1999 (one of my all-time favorite games) and one of my favorite games. The most memorable villains in video games are Shodan, the god of the mad machine. Our weekend editor Jody described Shodan's introduction in System Shock 2 a few years ago as one of the great moments in PC gaming, and he's right. Shodan's original voice, Terri Brosius, is returning for the remake, and Nightdive says it's also working closely with other members of the original System Shock development team.
