There are minor changes in Set 5.5 meta.
The Set 5.5 Reckoning World Championship will take place in about a month, and one meta balance change has been included in Teamfight Tactics Patch 11.18.
Patch 9, scheduled for release on September 11.18, will pump out four costly three-star Set 5.5 champions, while also inflicting a few nerfs on over-performers in the competitive TFT meta. Unused radiant items are scheduled for power-ups. The Hellion trait is receiving an attack speed buff that can affect their late game strategy.
From Volibear's rework to the Kayle Ascension nerf, here are all the TFT Set 11.18 balance changes that took place in Patch 5.5.
5.5 Set Little Legends
Riot Games is dropping a number of Little Legends and an esports Pengu, including variations of Ao Shin, Featherknight, and Paddlemar Little Inktale.
There are a total of 15 Inktale variations showcasing the five elements. Prices for an Inktale Little Legend start at 490 RP or $3,99 for mobile and are included in three Inktale bundles.
The esports Pengu is available for a limited time in the LoL store until October 19 for 750 Riot points or $5.99 on mobile.
Patch 11.18 attribute balance changes
Hellion is receiving a balance change in 11.18 Patch. It won't warp the meta, but will provide late game vitality for the Set 5.5 feature. Hellion's attack speed increased from 10/30/70/130 percent to 10/30/80/140 percent.
Patch 11.18 champion balance changes
Three-star units costing four get traditional set-end buffs and provide powerful stats for the tactician who can craft them. According to lead game design director Stephen “Mortdog” Mortimer, Volibear is getting a minor “rework” that will hit hard with damage, though not instantly melt shields.
Other notable TFT Patch 11.18 changes include a Jax nerf due to the Set 5.5 champion being an overpowered standalone unit, a change to Pyke's spell, a nerf to Kayle Ascension, and a reduction in Daisy's stun.
