VALORANT Chapter Five, Part Two started today with patch 5.04. In addition to the new game improvements found in the patch, a free event ticket and new content for players to enjoy are included in the game.
Patch 5.04 mainly focuses on players' crosshair settings. Now players around the world can enjoy more reticle features to improve their gameplay and skills. These new features include the option to set a custom color for further customization of the reticle, as well as the option to independently adjust the horizontal or vertical reticle lines. The number of reticle profiles is also expanding from 10 to 15, adding options for players to explore.
Players in spectator mode will now be able to copy the reticle of the player they are watching.
As for the battle pass, it will center around "myths and legends". Riot Games producer Laura Baltzer talks about the battle pass being inspired by “different cultures and stories.” Some of the new weapon skins players can obtain after purchasing the premium version of the Battle pass (1.000 VP ) include the Piedra del Sol costume line inspired by Aztec art and mythology.
A new free event ticket dedicated to celebrating the 2022 Champions will also be available to players. Of course, it will reset in ranked leagues with the new part.
