Riot Games designer Phlox gave a quick patch preview outlining which champions are buffed and nerfed, with both Yasuo and Yone making some changes to slightly increase their win rates.
“We're buffing the wind brethren because they've been heavily damaged by the Shieldbow changes and the win rate for each has dropped to about 47.5%,” Phlox said.
The changes on the Immortal Shield were quite significant. Not only was his attack damage reduced by five, more importantly his lifeline shield was reduced by 150 at max level. As a result, Yone and Yasuo's ability to survive teamfights in the later stages of the game has diminished, making them the primary target for being hit with burst damage.
Besides Yone and Yasuo, a handful of other champions like Nocturne, Volibear, Veigar, Tristana, and Senna are also getting buffs in the next patch.
For AP champion buffs, they'll be happy to know that both Lich Bane and Rylai's Crystal Scepter will receive buffs in next patch.
Patch 12.2 is scheduled for release on Thursday, January 20.
