Warzone's final event kicks off on November 30; Here's what we know so far about Verdansk's Last Hours.
Call of Duty: Vanguard will get Warzone integration with the new Caldera map on December 8, but players will have one last event to say goodbye to the Verdansk map. In addition to the ongoing Operation: Flashback limited-time mode and Secrets of the Pacific event, the Last Hours of Verdansk launches on November 30. The launch for this event is likely Call of Duty's 10.00 PT / 1 PM ET start time.
There are few details about this Warzone grand finale, so it's unclear whether this will be a limited-time mode or just a cinematic cutscene to close players' time in Verdansk. In a Call of Duty blog, The Last Hours of Verdansk are vaguely described as allowing players to "see what happened to Verdansk before dark to prepare for the Warzone Caldera." Activision also said, “As you bid farewell to the city of Kastovia forever, are you waiting for a wonderful and fitting end to your time in Verdansk?” says.
Activision also mocked the event, saying "the bombs are going away", which could mean Verdansk is being bombed again. Hopefully the event won't be too similar to Black Ops Cold War's integration into Warzone with the two-part Destruction of Verdansk event where the modern version of Verdansk is bombed to stop a zombie epidemic from spreading. And finally, Verdansk was released during the first Vanguard reveal event II . Regardless, we'll update this information as more details emerge about Verdansk's Last Hours and the participation rewards that may be included.
Warzone will then travel to the Pacific with the Caldera map for Season 1 of Vanguard. Warzone is a free-to-play game, but Vanguard players will have 24-hour exclusive access to the new Caldera map during this time. During this special access, Warzone's smaller Rebirth Island map will remain open for everyone else to play. For more details on the new Caldera map and Vanguard integration, here's everything we know about Warzone Pacific and Vanguard's Season 8 update on December 1.
This Call of Duty content is scheduled to continue because Activision Blizzard is facing lawsuits and other investigations over allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination against women. Recently, Kotick was reported to have said that he would consider leaving Activision Blizzard if the issues are not resolved quickly.
