Apex Legends Mobile, With the news that it will be released on May 17 received an official release date earlier today. Now, there's a teaser trailer for the first season of Apex Mobile to match that date.
The trailer features all the classic Apex characters players know and love from the PC and console versions of the game. But just before the trailer ends, a teaser of a new character for the mobile game is shown, and players get a glimpse of a new face they've never seen before on Apex.
Kuben Blisk is once again seen drinking at one of the Outlands bars. Players haven't seen Blisk in the PC and console version of the game for months, with Duardo Silva taking control of the Syndicate and the games with it. Meanwhile, Blisk was listed as "missing" in one of the more recent transition screens added to the latest game.
While it is not entirely clear who the next legend to come to Apex Mobile will be, the silhouette used in the trailer does not resemble the legends in the PC and console version at the moment. All this confirms the information that Apex Mobile will get some new maps and legends before PC and console.
It's also unclear whether Apex Mobile will run on the same timeline as Apex Legends, or if it will be a completely separate universe and/or timeline. Blisk has been used by Respawn to boost anticipation for mobile gaming several times, similar to how Apex was deployed when it was first released in 2019. Aside from the fact that most content shown from the game stands out, there are similarities between the two launches.
Whatever the case, Apex Legends Mobile is apparently launching on May 17 with a new legend for players. The game will be playable on iOS and Android.
