Hot Wheels Unleashed has announced a wave of DC content, including a Batcave course and vehicles based on Robin, Bane, and the Dark Knight itself.
Hot wheels unleashed, Batman, will receive loads of DC-Comics-related DLC content this winter, including playable vehicles and courses based on classic characters like Robin, Catwoman, and Bane. The latest Hot Wheels connected game gave a boost to current-gen consoles last month, but developer Milestone has promised the fast-paced fun will continue with a steady wave of additional DLC cars and racetracks.
The DLC roadmap for Hot Wheels Unleashed shows new vehicles coming to the game in at least the next three batches, with the final result being over 66 collectible cars for players to unlock and race on a variety of customizable Hot Wheels tracks. This list of DLC vehicles includes several iconic cars from movies, television and comics – like the time-traveling DeLorean from Back To The Future, the Party Wagon of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fame, and Batman's classic Batmobile. It looks like Hot Wheels Unleashed doesn't stop at the Dark Knight's famous journey for DC-based thrills, as a vast assortment of Batman's equally iconic supporting cast and rogue gallery will join the Hot Wheels racing circuit later this year.
Earlier today, Milestone Team's official YouTube channel was released on Dec. Hot Wheels Unleashed Batman Expansion Released a trailer for This DLC expansion pack includes five Gotham-themed vehicles: Armored Batman, Batman Rebirth, The Penguin, Robin 2.0T and The Joker GT. There will also be a new racetrack modeled after the Batcave, a funhouse-style Track Builder Module dubbed the "Joker Funhouse Split" that can drive unsuspecting racers off the track, and many Batman-themed customization items.
The DC fun doesn't end there, Milestone Team also has an event from November 11th to January 18th. Hot Wheels Unleashed DC Super-Villains Racing Season Released a trailer for In-game racing challenges to unlock extra content – including six ominous new vehicles modeled after notorious DC villains Bane, The Cheetah, Poison Ivy, Black Manta, Deathstroke and Harley Quinn. There will also be new customization items for Basement and Player Profile, and free gear and tokens for everyone who joins.
DC Comics has recently taken a role with video game content, both in the form of cross-promotional links to established games and indie games centered on the brand's massive legendary heroes and villains. Earlier this week, Fortnite added the spooky Batman Who Laughs to its growing roster of DC guest characters, and Saturday's DC Fandome provided a closer look at WB Montreal's Gotham Knights and Rocksteady's Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League.
Players will be able to tear off the plastic orange tracks of Hot Wheels Unleased as Bane or Harley Quinn when DC Super-Villains Racing Season starts on November 11, then Batman They'll be able to get behind the wheel of the Batmobile when the Expansion launches on December 2.
