Then they go into the accessibility settings and reduce the slamming effect. After changing the settings, they throw another grenade and this time their screen goes black.
Dark mode allows people to use social media and websites, e-reading programs, etc. It has become a fairly common setting that one can use. Adding this to Battlefield games as an accessibility feature was a great move, and players would clearly be happy if Modern Warfare 2 added a similar feature to the game. However, with the recently released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 01 Reloaded, it may take some time for Infinity Ward to add such a new feature to the game.
