Bayonetta 3 is on the way.
After years of waiting, Nintendo has finally shared more details about Bayonetta 3, including its launch window and a new trailer. While we don't know the official release date yet, Bayonetta 3 is coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch in 2022.
"I'm unfashionably late, but I'm ready to give you whatever you want," the trailer says, as Cereza comes into the frame with her appearance. He then goes on to fight huge enemies, including a giant scorpion. The trailer is full of chaotic destruction and of course lots of stylish action games.
The end of the footage teased a new character, but he definitely looked like the guy from Platinum Games' canceled project Scalebound. You can watch the entire trailer below. Bayonetta 3 is directed by Yusuke Miyata, who previously worked as a designer on The Wonderful 101 and Astral Chain.
Bayonetta 3 was announced for Nintendo Switch in 2017, but little information about the game has surfaced so far. Prior to that, directors Hideki Kamiya and Atsuhi Inaba of Platinum Games said they're willing to show more and fans don't have to worry about the game.
